Unreal MegaJam 2022 "As Above So Below"  game intepretation.

This game is based on the Origin of the phrase "As above, so below" that leads to a Myth of an ancient tablet called "Emerald Tablet" that was a cryptic Arabic text translated first to Latin language. 

Then the text and myth was used to search for higher rewards using Alchemy, trying to convert things to gold or the look for the Fifth Element. Also the search and concepts of the Astronomical and Astral planes.

The main story for the game was like this but obviously was cutted the development, but now the new story is this.

You are a time traveler that came to this new land to get some objectives. There's a lightning that petrify animals and convert them into different principles,(sulphur, salt, mercury), elements(fire, water, earth, air), and metals (iron, silver, quicksilver, gold, lead, tin, etc)

Using the Emerald Tablet you have to go near the petrified animals and create some alchemy spell to get it back to life, but in a transcendent way, where the deers exist "as Above so Below"

What I've done:
- Gameplay programing from scratch

- Bluprints, C++,  base C++ and customizable blue prints events/functions for try and then to be migrated to C++ in a future

- Delegates,
- Overlap Events
- Behavior Trees with Tasks
- Navigation Mesh for deers
- SceneComponents, 
- Mixing particles. 
- Anim States
- Deers spawns every X seconds.
- Lightning spawns every X seconds with Y delay to strike a deer
- Github for SCM

What I use:

Several assets from Epic store like Medieval Environment(cut the landscape), Lightning Effects, Magical Effects and Adventure Music from Fantasy package. No many sounds. 

Bugs? JA, sure, but one I couldn't fix quickly was the blocking volume that was colliding with the PlayerSpawn making the spawn falling outside the map, even with the correct collision set. So I made the box collision to ignore pawn :(, so don't fell the map!
